Fabrication Engineer

Fabrication Engineer Location: Dubai Experience: 5+ Years Industry: Fabrication / Manufacturing / Oil & Gas / Construction Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Fabrication Engineer with strong hands-on knowledge of all types of welding processes and fabrication works. The candidate will be responsible for supervising fabrication activities, ensuring quality standards, and managing production as per project requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Supervise workshop and site fabrication activities • Perform and oversee welding processes: SMAW, GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG), FCAW, SAW • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications • Prepare WPS, PQR, and welding documentation • Ensure compliance with ASME / AWS standards • Monitor quality control and conduct inspections • Coordinate with production, design, and QA/QC teams • Plan materials and control fabrication schedules • Ensure safety standards and HSE compliance • Lead welders, fitters, and fabrication crew Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field • Minimum 5 years of experience in fabrication and welding • Strong knowledge of structural steel, piping, or pressure vessel fabrication • Ability to manage manpower and production targets • Good communication and leadership skills Preferred: • Experience in Oil & Gas / Heavy Engineering industry • Knowledge of AutoCAD • Certification in welding inspection (CSWIP / AWS) is an advantage Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
